About Me
Since I was a young child growing up in the rural countryside of Oakdale, California, agriculture has been an essential part of my life. From showing animals through my local 4-H chapter to competing in public speaking competitions through the Future Farmers of America (FFA), the agriculture industry has provided many opportunities to help me grow personally and professionally. Both my parents, who began their careers in agricultural education, instilled in me a love for learning. I graduated in May 2023 from California State University, Chico, with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Science with a specialization in Communication and Leadership.
Currently, I am a graduate student at Oregon State University pursuing my master's degree in agriculture communications. I hope to obtain a career in marketing communications that allows me to advocate for the agriculture industry while being an active member of my community, supporting local 4-H clubs, FFA programs, and agriculture-focused organizations. In my free time, I enjoy being outside and hiking, spending quality time with friends and family, and traveling on new adventures.
